Cargill, a global leader in food production and agricultural services, announced today that it will build a new soybean processing facility near Caruthersville in Pemiscot County. When complete, the new facility will be one of Cargill’s largest soy processing facilities in North America and create 45 new high-paying jobs in the region.
Doyle Equipment Manufacturing and Riverview Manufacturing, worldwide leaders in manufacturing dry fertilizer handling equipment, announced today they are expanding in Palmyra. This joint expansion brings an estimated $1 million investment, and 30 jobs, to northeast Missouri.
The Missouri Community Service Commission (MCSC) announced today the recent appointment of three new commissioners to its board: Abigail Bidwell, of Kirksville, Samantha Ferguson Knight, of St. Louis, and Dr. Robin Smith, of Jackson. Commissioners are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Missouri Senate, and provide oversight and strategic vision for MCSC.
