Piston Automotive, a subsidiary of the Piston Group and the world’s largest automotive assembly supplier, announced today it will open a facility in Wentzville, investing more than $10 million and creating 204 new jobs. The company’s new location will increase Piston Automotive’s capacity for producing a variety of components for automotive manufacturers.
The U.S. Department of Treasury has approved Missouri’s State Small Business Credit Initiative’s (SSBCI) application, representing nearly $27 million to support small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs. The approval represents the first of three tranches of federal funding, totaling $95 million, to be deployed through the Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC).
Terra Star, LLC, a manufacturer of polyethylene pipe products, announced today that it will build a new production facility in Rogersville, investing up to $5 million and creating 31 new jobs. Terra Star is locating its manufacturing capabilities in Webster County to meet the growing needs of the construction and utility markets.
Simcote, Inc., announced today it will expand in Sedalia, investing more than $17 million and creating 35 new jobs. The company will build a new manufacturing facility as it increases its U.S. presence and production capacity.
