The Missouri Department of Economic Development published an amendment to the Draft FY19 State Consolidated Plan Partners Annual Action Plan and posted the public meeting schedule. Note: The amendment applies to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program only. Public comments regarding the amendment are due November 7, 2019.
Amendment Summary: The full amendment, accessible online, discusses the state’s consolidated plan year, which runs April 1, 2019 - March 30, 2020. It also outlines how non-housing community development needs must be identified within that timeframe, with CDBG funds targeted on economic development, public improvements, infrastructure, and public facilities. The expected amount available for year two of the state's consolidated plan has increased by approximately $16.3 million to include funds available from the prior year—bringing the total expected amount available for year two to more than $46 million.
